It is best to use MANIKO in the evening before going to bed, so that your pedicure can cure optimally.
For about 3 hours after your pedicure, avoid contact with hot water and steam, as well as pressure on the nails. It is better not to take a shower or put on socks and shoes immediately after the pedicure.
A pack of MANIKO Pedi-Strips, MANIKO Base Coat, MANIKO Top Coat, nail file, scissors, cuticle pusher
Optional: alcohol pad, nail buffer, cuticle cutter
Extend the durability of your pedicure by pushing back your cuticles with a cuticle stick and removing the thin layer of cuticle on your nail bed.
Optionally, smooth your nails with a nail buffer. Wash your hands/nails thoroughly. If you want, you can still clean your nails with an alcohol pad.
Apply a layer of MANIKO Base Coat, which nourishes and conditions your toenails and provides extended durability.
Choose the right Pedi Strips for your nails from the different sizes. If you are unsure between two sizes, choose the smaller size.
If you can't find a suitable size, you can also cut them with scissors. This way you can also adjust the shape.
Stick on the Pedi Strips centrally on your nails. Do not stick it on your cuticles. For smaller toenails, you can use fine tweezers to place the Pedi Strip more precisely. Take special care to apply the Pedi Strips without tension and not to pull it in length or width.
Cut off the protruding half. It is important not to cut too close to the edge of the nail, so that you can still fold the end over. Depending on the length of the nail, you can use the other half for another nail.
Cut the Pedi Strips right at the edge of your nail tip and lightly file along the nail tips.
OR: Take a cuticle cutter and run it right along the tip of your nail so you can adjust the Pedi Strips to your nail length.
Press the edges of the Pedi Strips firmly onto your toenail. You can use the cuticle pusher for this.
Apply one thin layer of MANIKO Top Coat. Avoid applying several layers in a row. Also spread the top coat on your nail tip and paint a little beyond the edges of your Pedi Strips to seal it.
If you can easily see the tip of your nail after 1-2 weeks, you can simply cut it off or file it down with a nail file.
To extend the durability, you can apply one thin layer of Top Coat after some time. Again, make sure to spread some Top Coat on your nail tip and paint over the edges of your Pedi Strips.
Simply soak a cotton pad in our nail polish remover and wipe the Pedi Strips from the nail in circular motions with light pressure. Do not pull the Pedi Strips off your nails!
